Peat is an international commodity. Some countries like the Baltics mainly extract peat, others like the Netherlands primarily consume it, and others like Germany do both. Peat extraction has come under fire in recent years for its enormous environmental impact. Let´s take a look at this Movement in the Netherlands and internationally.
